On Sunday 9/22 at 10:00am, we will have our worship service in downtown Derry outside at the Gazebo parking lot as part of the annual Derry Railroad Days Celebration. Please come and join us!

We will NOT have our regular worship service in the building that Sunday morning, but we will still have the regular childcare for the little ones who normally go across the parking lot. Older kids can come to the service.

Come early, dress for the weather, and consider bringing a folding chair to make sure you have a good seat.

The suggested shoebox items to bring in September are school supplies and toiletries. But as always, you can bring in anything that you like.

Our next class at Harvest Bible Training Center begins Tuesday September 10th. It is entitled The God of Increase. Here is the course description:

This course examines God’s desire for His people to increase in peace, wisdom, resources, and most importantly, bearing fruit. We study both God’s part and our part impacting increase and discuss practical steps all believers can take to experience more of God’s best in their lives.

The class begins Tuesday September 10th. and will run for 8 weeks on Tuesday nights. We will meet from 7:00-8:30pm in the fellowship hall. The cost is $30 for one person. $45 per couple. And for families it is +$5 for each additional member. As always, if the cost is a hurdle right now then just let us know.

If you have a medical concern or your schedule prohibits then you can take the class remotely in part or whole, please contact us for details. You can find the schedule and registration forms here.

If you would like to be a part of the Harvest Bowling League, please sign up on the bulletin board. It is held at Lincoln Lanes in Latrobe and meets two Sunday’s a month at 5:00pm. The new season begins September 8th.

Mark your calendar. This is a great outreach opportunity to help make this day special for the residents at Torrance State Hospital. We will meet at the church and leave by 8:45am and return around 2:00pm. Please sign-up on the bulletin board if you plan to help.

If you have someone in your family graduating from High School or College this year, please let Susan know as soon as possible. We will be honoring and praying for our graduates on Sunday June 9th.

The suggested shoebox items to collect in June are toys. These are small toys that can be included in the shoe boxes, such as matchbox cars, fidget spinners, balls, yo-yos, dolls, magnets, frisbees etc. All gifts are always welcome, please feel free to bring anything you like.
